How we started
Exploration Caravan Hire was established in November 1990 by Andy and Yvonne Boult. Andy is ex Royal Australian Navy and worked as a Purchasing Officer in the mining industry. Yvonne worked in Banking and as an Office Manageress for a large drilling company.
As ex-mining company employees, we can understand the needs and demands of the mining sector.
We originally started, a canvas and motor trimming workshop in Kalgoorlie and quickly identified the need for exploration caravans on the Goldfields initially and later the Murchinson and Northwest, servicing the mining boom.
Exploration Caravan Hire operates in Kalgoorlie.

We have a wide selection of off-road mining exploration caravans ranging from brand-new vans that sleep 8 people to older-style refurbished caravans, all of which offer comfort and safety. We deliver anywhere, anytime and our caravans are available for short or long-term hire.

Our caravans are fitted out for long-term use and are packed with extras to keep the occupants comfortable and happy. Some come with annexes and really are a home away from home.

Front Loading Washing Machines and Reverse Cycle Air Conditioning.
Safety Features
Safety is paramount; all caravans are fitted with Smoke Alarms, RCD’s, Fire extinguishers and Fire blankets. Our newer caravans come with the Breaksafe Breakaway Switch which will activate the brakes on the caravan should it be separated from the towing vehicle.

We supply caravans to a wide range of clients from Single Prospectors through to Major Mining Companies and will deliver anywhere, anytime, 24 hours a day 7 days a week
